The Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle crash Saturday just before 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 366 and Township Road 239.
Deputies say a 2019 Toyota Camry driven by 73-year-old Alva Daniel of St. Marys was traveling west on State Route 366 when a 2010 Jeep Liberty driven by 17-year-old Hagan Nightenhelser of Huntington, Indiana, failed to yield at a stop sign and struck the Camry on the passenger side.
Nightenhelser was cited for failure to yield.
Alva Daniel was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Indian Lake EMS with suspected minor injuries.
A passenger in the Camry, 71-year-old Cheryl Daniel of St. Marys, was also taken to the hospital for possible injuries.
Authorities say both vehicles sustained heavy damage.
