Fire crews were called Friday afternoon to a small soybean field fire near the intersection of State Route 235 and State Route 47.
With help from nearby farmers and a truck from the DeGraff Fire Department, the blaze was brought under control within minutes.
No injuries were reported.
Bystanders claimed that the field appeared to have just been harvested.
