Fire crews respond to home on Sandusky Avenue

Bellefontaine Fire Department responded to a two-story residential fire at 412 East Sandusky Avenue shortly after 2:30 p.m. Monday afternoon.

Officials say the blaze is believed to have started in the kitchen, though the exact cause remains under investigation.

Smoke could be seen coming from the second story as firefighters arrived on the scene.

No injuries have been reported.

According to the Logan County Auditor’s website, the property is owned by Hannah Perdue.

Tri-Valley Fire District assisted at the scene, and the Bellefontaine Police Department also responded.

Traffic in the area was closed for a period of time while crews worked on the fire.
