In honor of Flag Day and those who have served under the American flag, Alan Galvez Insurance will host its annual Flag Exchange from June 9–13.
Community members are invited to bring their worn or tattered U.S. flags to the agency’s office at 134 West Columbus Avenue in Bellefontaine and exchange them for a new 3′ x 5′ U.S. flag.
Flags will be exchanged during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Please note:
- Only United States flags will be accepted.
- New flags are limited to two per household due to limited supply.
- Flags will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
All collected flags will be given to the American Legion for proper disposal, in keeping with the respectful tradition of flag retirement.
