Friday evening just before 6:30 PM at the intersection of US 33 and County Road 87. a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle were involved in an accident.
A Logan County Sheriff’s Deputy, who was stationed at the intersection to help with traffic control, witnessed the incident.
The semi-truck, driven by Isaac Aldridge, 54, of Charlotte, North Carolina, was making a wide right turn from westbound County Road 87 onto northbound County Road 270.
As Aldridge was turning, his truck was struck on the side by a passenger car driven by Rodger Schuback, 46, of Dublin, Ohio.
Schuback told the deputy that he had his turn signal on well before making the turn and that Aldridge had his hazard lights on at the time of the crash.
No one was injured in the crash, and both vehicles were able to pull off the road.
Schuback was cited for Assured Clear Distance.
Both vehicles suffered minor damage.
