A Lakeview man was arrested Sunday evening after a reckless driving complaint led deputies to a gas station on State Route 235.

Just after 7:00 PM, the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about a silver Range Rover driving erratically near Blackhawk Path.

Deputies spotted a vehicle matching the description and followed it to the Marathon station in Lakeview.

The driver, identified as 44-year-old Timothy Castle, told the deputy he had just left the Moose Lodge and had a couple of drinks.

While speaking with him, deputies noticed Castle showed several signs of impairment.

Castle agreed to try a field sobriety test, but was unable to complete it.

He was then placed under arrest for OVI.

Once at the Logan County Jail, he refused a breath test.

He was later released to a sober driver and scheduled to appear in court later this week.
