Tuesday is Senior Citizens Day at the Logan County Fair, and to honor the occasion, Logan Acres Senior Community hosted a Senior Lunch in the Junior Fair Activity Building.
Around 300 seniors were served, putting the event at capacity.
Meals included cold meat sandwiches, chips, a cookie, and water, all in varying reusable bags.
Lorraine Fischio, the Administrator at Logan Acres, has helped host the event for eight years. She speaks about seeing familiar faces and serving the community:
Earlier in the day, Mary Rutan Health hosted the Senior Breakfast and Trivia.
Following the Senior Lunch is a performance from the Mad River Dulcimer Society at 1; Senior Bingo, sponsored by Community Health and Wellness Partners, at 2; and an Ice Cream Social, sponsored by Green Hills Community, at 4:30.
