The West Liberty Business Association is thrilled for the Summer Street Market on Saturday, June 28th.
In response to growing demand and space limitations at the previous venue, this year, the market will be relocated to the expansive Lion’s Park, located just outside the Village of West Liberty.
The address is 576 Township Rd 174, West Liberty, OH 43357.
This new location offers a large, grassy area on the park’s south side, with convenient access to State Route 245.
West Liberty Council Member, Jayne Griffith, shares the fun that’s going to be in town:
On Saturday, you can enjoy the following:
- West Liberty Force Softball Tournament – Hosted at Lions Club Park.
- Lions Club Pancake Breakfast – From 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
- Lions Club Fish Fry – From 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Live Entertainment – Under the entertainment tent from Noon until 10:00 p.m., featuring these exciting bands: Pete Mosbarger (12-3 p.m.), Tucker Munz Music (3-6 p.m.) & Ragtop Down (6-10 p.m.)
- DORA (Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area) – Expanding the event atmosphere and engagement.
- Summer Street Market Car Show – Noon to 6:00 p.m. Check-in and day-of-show registrations will begin at 11:00 a.m. Awards will be announced at 6:00 p.m.
- Vendors & Food Trucks – Open from Noon to 10:00 p.m.
- Softball games all day long at Lions Club Ballpark.
- 10U, 12U & 14U baseball tournaments at Dodge Park.
Fireworks will begin at dusk at Lions Club Ballpark.
The following streets and roadways will be closed in the village in preparation for the fireworks:
- Pickrelltown Road/Twp Road 174 will be closed starting at 7 p.m. from the water plant to the 1100 block of Twp Road 174.
- The north entrance of Lions Park will be closed to all vehicle traffic until the display ends. All vehicles should enter and exit the park from the south.
- There will be no parking or spectator access in the grass “triangle” just north of the park entrance.
- All roads and entrances will reopen approximately 30 minutes after the display concludes.
The West Liberty Fourth of July fireworks show is 100% funded by local donations.
