A garage fire that nearly spread to a nearby home was quickly put out by local firefighters Wednesday afternoon.
Just after 1:30 PM, the Huntsville Volunteer Fire Department was called to a fire on Lake Street, just outside of Huntsville.
When they arrived, they saw smoke coming from the roof.
Crews acted quickly to control the blaze and prevent further damage.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
The Richland Township Volunteer Fire Department, Huntsville Volunteer Fire Department, Indian Joint Fire District, BMRT Ambulance District, and the Logan County Sheriff’s Office all responded to the scene.
