Saturday morning Bellefontaine Police Officers observed an SUV traveling eastbound on East Auburn Avenue weaving within the lane of travel.
The vehicle traveled over the double yellow line multiple times resulting in a traffic stop on Eastern Avenue.
The driver, later identified as Duane George, of Bellefontaine, had an odor of alcohol when speaking with officers.
Officers observed his eyes to be bloodshot and glossy along with slurred speech.
Duane failed multiple field sobriety tests.
He was placed under arrest and transported to the Logan County Jail where he rejected a breath sample.
Duane was later released to a sober driver and charged with OVI and Driving In Marked Lanes.
