According to Logan County Sheriff’s Deputies, Thursday evening, a routine traffic stop in Huntsville led to the arrest of a passenger for drug paraphernalia possession.

Around 7:00 p.m., deputies saw a Dodge Dakota fail to stop at a stop sign in Huntsville and not use its turn signal moments later.

When the vehicle was pulled over, the driver, Michael Vogler, and the passenger, Jeremy Johnson, both acted overly nervous.

Deputies asked both men to exit the vehicle for further questioning.

When asked about any illegal items in the vehicle, both denied having anything illegal.

After Vogler gave consent to search the vehicle, deputies found a glass bubble pipe in the glove box on the passenger side, commonly used to smoke methamphetamine.

Johnson admitted the pipe belonged to him and stated it was used for methamphetamine.

He was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and transported to the Logan County Jail.

Vogler was released from the scene with a verbal warning for the traffic violations.
