God’s Miracle Blessing

Middleburg Community Church, through the extravagant generosity of congregational and community members, has been able to provide for the purchase of a handicapped-accessible van for a local family in the congregation.

Recipients of the van are the family of Vince & Cindy Deardurff, specifically for their 20-year-old daughter, Leah, who is wheelchair-bound.

This van will help so that she doesn’t have to be lifted in and out of vehicles in order to get into her wheelchair to get to appointments and activities.

MIddleburg’s Outreach Team started a “Leah’s Van Fund” in hopes of offsetting the cost of a converted van for the family.

Surprisingly, God had something greater than they ever could have imagined when the fund grew quickly to cover the ENTIRE cost for the family.

The church received donations at a couple of community meals in addition to congregational support, so this truly is a gift from the community as well as the congregation.
