Riverside Local Schools had the honor to host Governor Mike DeWine Monday.
Governor DeWine visited because Riverside Elementary has been using an evidence-based reading curriculum, along with best instructional practices that are aligned with the Science of Reading.
Governor DeWine’s goal is for every student in Ohio to be a proficient reader. His plan is for all Ohio schools to use evidence-based reading programs that are aligned to the Science of Reading to help improve Early Childhood Literacy.
He was able to visit Mrs. Easton’s class as well as Mrs. Mann’s class.
