Wednesday evening, officers of the Washington Township Police Department were on patrol on US Route 33 and stopped Tana Haas, 33, of Lakeview, for an equipment violation.
When they made contact with Haas they noticed several signs of impairment.
Haas admitted to drinking alcohol earlier in the evening, she then submitted to field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest for OVI.
She was taken into custody and transported to the Logan County Jail.
Once at the jail, she refused to submit to a breath test.
Haas was charged with OVI and released to a sober driver.
