A 27-year-old Hamilton man has been arrested in connection with a theft from an elderly woman in West Liberty last Wednesday evening.
Authorities say the incident happened around 9:00 p.m. on November 5.
The suspect, identified as Arshpreet Singh, was taken into custody on Friday and booked into the Tri-County Jail.
Singh faces multiple charges, including:
- Theft/Deception
- Attempted Theft
- Telecommunications Fraud
- Possessing Criminal Tools
Court records indicate that Singh appeared for arraignment on Monday morning, with his bond set at $30,000.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Thursday at 2:00 p.m.
Singh remains in custody at the Tri-County Jail.
