James Haynes was charged with Domestic Violence after Logan County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a 9-1-1 call early Thursday morning.
A victim was in bed when Haynes came into their bedroom, broke a lamp, threw another at a window, and pulled them off the bed onto the floor.
When the victim attempted to dial 9-1-1 Haynes grabbed the phone from them and threatened to get a gun out of the gun safe and shoot them.
When deputies arrived on the scene Haynes was in a recliner and stated that he needed help because he was having withdrawal symptoms from Percocet.
Haynes was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital.
