A two-vehicle crash Saturday evening sent one person to the hospital.
The crash happened around 5:15 p.m. at the curve of Township Road 179 and Township Road 55.
According to the report, a 2019 Honda Civic driven by 16-year-old Everett Lomax of Marysville was traveling north when he crossed the yellow line while going around the curve.
The Civic entered the path of a 2025 Ford Bronco operated by 30-year-old Thomas Kleinfelter of Plain City.
The Civic was pushed into the grass, where it caught fire.
The vehicle also leaked fuel at the scene, prompting hazmat crews to respond and clean up the spill.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Lomax was issued a marked lanes violation.
Kleinfelter’s passenger, 57-year-old Tyler Rader of Bellefontaine, was taken to Mary Rutan Hospital by Bellefontaine EMS for possible injuries.

The crash happened around 5:15 p.m. and involved a head-on collision on Township Road 179 in Bellefontaine.
