The Ohio Hi-Point Career Center Board of Education recently, proudly agreed to continue funding student lunches for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year.
This decision reaffirms the Board’s deep commitment to the well-being and academic success of all Ohio Hi-Point students.
This marks another consecutive year that Ohio Hi-Point Career Center students will receive complimentary lunches, a measure designed to alleviate financial pressure on families and ensure every student has access to nutritious meals throughout their school day.
Brad Richardson, Assistant Superintendent, stated,
“The Board’s decision on July 23rd reflects the Board of Education’s unwavering belief that proper nutrition is fundamental to a student’s ability to learn and thrive. By providing free lunches, we are removing a potential barrier to learning and ensuring our students can fully focus on their career-technical education and future aspirations.”
The Ohio Hi-Point Career Center Board of Education understands the profound impact that access to healthy meals has on student concentration, attendance, and overall academic performance.
This continued commitment aligns with the district’s overarching mission to foster a supportive and enriching educational environment for every student.
