A 24-year-old Troy man is facing multiple charges after leading deputies on a high-speed chase early Saturday morning.

Just after 1 AM, a Logan County Sheriff’s deputy spotted an SUV speeding south on State Route 235, going 82 miles per hour in a 55 MPH zone.

When the deputy tried to pull the vehicle over, the driver didn’t stop and instead turned onto Township Road 43, speeding up to 90 miles per hour.

The chase continued through several rural roads and into the Village of DeGraff.

The driver ran several stop signs and red lights before eventually stopping on State Route 235, south of the village.

Andrew Fatone Jr. was taken into custody and told deputies he didn’t stop because he’s on probation and didn’t want to get into more trouble.

He said he’d had a few drinks, and deputies noticed he showed several signs of impairment.

Fatone refused to submit to sobriety tests and a urine test.

He was taken to the Logan County Jail, where he’s facing charges of speeding, running stop signs, operating a vehicle under the influence, and felony failure to comply with a police officer.

His bond was set at $50,000.

A court date hasn’t been set yet.
