Hoffman Pool Kicks Off Season

Opening in 1968, the Hoffman Pool is a popular hangout for local residents each summer, and this past weekend it was the place to be, even though the pool heater went out and the slides water pump went down just days before opening.

Memorial Day weekend always is the opening weekend for the Hoffman Pool in Bellefontaine. The pool features three diving boards, a large slide, a sand volleyball court, and a baby pool area. A concession stand is open daily when the pool is in operation.

2023 Pool Hours – Monday through Sunday – 12:15 pm-7:00 pm

Daily Admission – Daily Ticket $4.00

Children 2 & under and Adults 60 years or older FREE entry.

Season membership: Individual $60, Family (4 members) $130, Additional family member(s) $10/each, and Babysitter $20.

American Red Cross Swim Lessons are scheduled for 4 sessions: June 5 – June 16, June 19 – June 30, July 10 -July 21, and July 24 – August 4. Lessons are $40/session for non-pool members and the first lesson session is free for members and then $10 for each additional session.

Adult Aqua Fit is scheduled from 6-7 in the evenings. Season Pass Members will not be charged and for the class, and if you are not a member it’s just $4 for each class. Kris Myers, Bellefontaine Parks & Rec Superintendent explains Aqua Fit:
