The Logan County Veterans Service Commission will once again issue holiday food cards to Logan County veterans and surviving spouses.
Veterans and surviving spouses can stop in to pick up a $50 Community Market Gift Card.
A limited number of cards are available.
Those applying must show proof of veteran status and county residency.
Surviving spouses are required to provide the same documentation, along with proof of marriage.
A death certificate may be accepted.
The first distribution will take place on Wednesday, November 12, from 8:30 to 11 a.m., and again from noon to 4 p.m.
A second round will be offered on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, during the same hours.
The commission says it chose to offer gift cards instead of turkeys or hams to better accommodate individual needs.
Some families may not have the ability to prepare a holiday meal, while others may simply need additional help purchasing food.
Officials say it is their privilege to support Logan County veterans and surviving spouses during the holiday season.
