Friday, Homecoming celebrations were in full swing across Logan County as students from Benjamin Logan and Indian Lake High Schools crowned their royalty during memorable ceremonies.

At Benjamin Logan High School, Mia Stahler and Landon Stoodt were honored as Homecoming Queen and King. Mia, daughter of Chad and Amy Stahler, and Landon, son of Kevin and Amy Stoodt, received their crowns in front of a spirited crowd, celebrating their contributions to the school community.

Meanwhile, late Friday, officials at Indian Lake High School decided to move the 2024 Homecoming Ceremony indoors to the ILHS Auditorium due to inclement weather—a decision that proved wise. Like true Lakers, students adjusted their sails and sailed on together.

Prior to kickoff, classmates, football fans, band members, and cheerleaders gathered to celebrate this year’s Homecoming Court without the threat of wind and rain. The Court, looking their best, was all smiles as they were recognized in a unique ceremony unlike any other Indian Lake Homecoming Court.

Congratulations to King Bryce Burton and Queen Halle Roby! The couple was crowned by 2023 King and Queen Camdon Tuttle and Katie Roby in front of cheering family and friends. Additional congratulations to the Freshmen Attendants Aaron Rapp and Bre Wisener, Sophomore Attendants Tyler Tidwell and Quinn Imm, Junior Attendants Joe Cummins and Lili Mackesy, and Senior Attendants Quest Clay and Haylee McCafferty!

Congratulations to both schools on their well-deserved honors and a successful Homecoming celebration!
