Hometown Parade & City Christmas coming your way Friday

Downtown Bellefontaine is about to turn into a winter wonderland.

As part of First Fridays, and in conjunction with Bellefontaine Grace Church, downtown will be all a buzz on Friday, December 2nd.

City Christmas & hometown parade festivities are set to begin at 4 p.m. with ice skating. There is something to do for community members of all ages. Food trucks, a petting zoo, wagon rides, a Christmas Village (A holiday version of Trunk-or-Treat), businesses & restaurants downtown plan to have extended hours, and of course the annual hometown Christmas parade will begin at 6 p.m.

Streets downtown will begin to close at 10 a.m. Friday, beginning with North Main Street from Columbus Avenue to Watson Way. At 1 p.m. all other downtown streets will close from Auburn Avenue to Sandusky Avenue and only the outer belt of downtown will remain open. Please plan accordingly.
