Hometown Parade & City Christmas coming your way Friday

Downtown Bellefontaine is about to turn into a winter wonderland.

As part of First Fridays, and in conjunction with Bellefontaine Grace Church, downtown will be all a buzz on Friday, December 2nd.

City Christmas & hometown parade festivities are set to begin at 4 p.m. with ice skating. There is something to do for community members of all ages. Food trucks, a petting zoo, wagon rides, a Christmas Village (A holiday version of Trunk-or-Treat), businesses & restaurants downtown plan to have extended hours, and of course the annual hometown Christmas parade will begin at 6 p.m.

Streets downtown will begin to close at 10 a.m. Friday, beginning with North Main Street from Columbus Avenue to Watson Way. At 1 p.m. all other downtown streets will close from Auburn Avenue to Sandusky Avenue and only the outer belt of downtown will remain open. Please plan accordingly.

The perfect way to kick off December, bring the family and a friend or two, and join the Downtown Bellefontaine Partnership and Bellefontaine Grace Church for an evening full of holiday magic and many memories.
