Honda has officially launched its new Resource Circularity Center in Ohio, a facility aimed at giving new life to retired equipment, office electronics, and vehicle service parts that might otherwise end up in landfills.
Located near Honda’s Marysville and East Liberty Auto Plants, the center is part of the company’s broader effort to reduce environmental impact through a circular economy business model.
By recycling and repurposing operational tools and production equipment in-house, Honda hopes to maximize material value and extend the lifecycle of its indirect goods.
“Honda is committed to advancing product resource circularity,” the company said, “transforming end-of-life products into raw materials that can be reused across our supply chain.”
The Resource Circularity Center represents a significant milestone in Honda’s global sustainability initiatives.
