The Logan County show barn was filled with excitement as exhibitors gathered Monday morning for the 2026 Logan County Junior Fair Rabbit Show, showcasing months of dedication, careful breeding, and countless hours of daily care. From competitive market classes to outstanding breed competition, youth exhibitors representing local 4-H clubs and FFA chapters competed for top honors before judges in one of the fair’s most competitive livestock events.

Standing above an impressive field of exhibitors was Lux Kipker of Riverside Hustlers 4-H Club, who enjoyed a remarkable day in the show ring. Kipker captured Grand Champion Market Rabbit with a champion Meat Pen before earning the prestigious Lauren Kipker Memorial Award and being named the show’s overall Best in Show. The success didn’t stop there, as Kipker also earned Best of Breed honors with a Californian doe in the 6-Class Breed Show, capping one of the most successful performances of the day.

Kipker talks about all the hard work she puts into her rabbits and what an honor it is to walk away with her incredible honors.

Several other exhibitors also turned in championship performances throughout the competition. Mackenzie Berry claimed the 4-Class Grand Champion title with a Mini Rex doe, while Hayden Knox earned Grand Champion honors in the 6-Class Breed Show with a New Zealand buck. Together, the day’s results reflected the depth and quality of Logan County’s rabbit program and the dedication of its young exhibitors.
