The Bellefontaine Police Department was dispatched to the 4800 block of Township Road 56 in reference to a complaint of a domestic Monday night around 9:30. A male was confronting Tyler Sullivan, 33, who he believed had stolen items from his residence.

When authorities arrived, Sullivan’s father had them separated.

The male said that Sullivan stayed with him the previous evening and when he woke up, Sullivan had left and items were missing from his residence.

The male did not know what all was missing, but he stated that record players, $200 in cash, and several coins were gone.

Deputies met with the victim at his residence in Russells Point and observed that it was in disarray. He stated that several items were moved around and that his electric guitar, valued at $6,000, was missing.

At Sullivan’s residence in Huntsville, authorities located Sullivan at the rear of the residence. He was taken into custody for the theft of the record players.

At the jail, a small vial containing six Xanax bars were located on him. Sullivan said that he had a prescription for it, but he was unable to produce it.

Sullivan was charged with possession of drugs-schedule IV substance and theft.
