A three-vehicle crash happened Saturday just before noon when a 2010 Chevrolet Impala, driven by Roger Evans, 64, of Bellefontaine, pulled out of a private driveway and into the path of two other vehicles.
The accident happened on Township Road 200, just outside of the Bellefontaine City limits, according to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.
Evans was leaving the private driveway when he failed to yield to oncoming traffic.
A 2021 GMC Terrain, driven by Hilary Horn, 20, also of Bellefontaine, and a 2003 Honda CR-V, driven by Jamie Harvey, 46, of Bellefontaine, couldn’t avoid hitting Evans’ car.
Evans was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
He was taken to Mary Rutan Hospital by Bellefontaine EMS for suspected minor injuries.
Neither Horn nor Harvey were injured in the crash.
