Indian Lake High School Band & Choir Earn Superior Ratings

The Indian Lake High School Symphonic Band won two prestigious awards during the recent Music In the Parks Competition in Hershey, Pennsylvania earlier this month.

The band earned a Superior I rating and second place overall in the contest.

The ILHS Band also earned the Esprit de Corps Award, presented to students from a school who demonstrated proper social behavior as well as musical behavior/encouragement.

They possess the qualities of highly successful people who are sensitive to the feelings of others and applaud accomplishments no matter whether by one’s own school or another school.

The Indian Lake High School Symphonic Band is 45 members strong and is directed by Mr. Jason Fauley with assistance from Mrs. Morissa Sweeney.

The Indian Lake High School Chorale earned a Superior (I) rating at the recent District 11 Ohio Music Education Association Large Group Adjudicated State event at Tippecanoe High School.
The ILHS Chorale is more than 80 members strong.
They are directed by Mrs. Tracey Notestine and accompanied by Mrs. Shirley McPherson.
