The Indian Lake Board of Education wrapped up its business for 2025 during a Monday evening regular meeting.
The Board recognized five Lakers who earned All-State Honors in football following the team’s historic run to the State Final Four.
Brodey Reisinger and Aaron Rapp were named First Team All-Ohio, Brady Golliday earned Second Team All-Ohio, and Franklin Kinney and Avery Pequignot received Honorable Mention.
In addition, Pequignot was honored for making the State’s First Team All-Ohio in Soccer.

During the meeting, the Board also accepted a $13,000 donation from the Indian Lake Athletic Boosters to support the IL Athletic Department.
Members approved the Quiz Bowl trip to Chicago in the spring, the ILHS Course Description Book for 2026–27, and updated the district’s Emergency Operations Plan, as required by law every five years.
Looking ahead, the Board will hold an organizational meeting on January 12th at 5 p.m. in the Board Office, with Board President Gabe Wickline serving as president pro-tempore.
During that meeting, members will elect officers and set the meeting schedule for 2026.
The regular January meeting will follow immediately at 5:30 p.m.
