The Indian Lake High School Class of 2025 was honored during the school’s annual Scholarship Night, where a total of $240,000 in local scholarship funds was awarded to graduating seniors.

The awards were distributed through 200 local scholarships, all funded through community donations and initiatives specifically designated to support area students.

A total of 40 seniors were recognized during the ceremony for their academic achievements, character, and future aspirations.

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the first-ever Sandy Helgeson Memorial Scholarship, named in memory of the late ILHS alum and producer of the well-known Nashville Hitmakers Concert.

Helgeson, who passed away last fall after a brief battle with cancer, left a legacy of arts and community involvement.

Daniel Wahl was announced as the inaugural recipient of the award.
