Many volunteers from a wide variety of Logan County businesses took part in Power Pace interviews at Indian Lake High School on Tuesday.

Teacher Alex Jacobs had students well prepared for the interviews including resumé’s.

These mock interviews served as a valuable experience for young people, not only for those entering the workforce, but college and military also.

Interviews happen in many avenues in life.

Employers evaluated the students’ interview performance and gave feedback for improvement in a group setting as well as individually.

Some comments from the interviewers- “Good experience for students.  You can see them learning during the process.” and “I enjoyed my time.  I think this is both beneficial for students and employers.”

Power Pace Interviews are coordinated by the Midwest Regional Educational Service Center, as part of the “3E” initiative.

Preparing students to make the choice to be Employed, Enlisted, or Enrolled at graduation.

Each Logan County school will be participating in Power Pace interviews over the next few weeks.
