Every member of the Indian Lake High School Class of 2025 has officially answered the question, “What’s Your E?” as part of Logan County’s bold 3E Initiative, which aims to ensure all graduating seniors are either Enrolled, Enlisted, or Employed by the time they cross the stage at graduation.

Friday, ILHS hosted its 2025 Signing Day, a special event organized by the Logan County Collaborative to honor students’ post-graduation commitments and future plans.

Students proudly signed certificates stating their chosen path—whether they are heading to college, joining the military, or starting a career at a local business.

Daniel Wahl, Evin Parker, and Dalton Hurley joined Ken Keller on The Morning Show on WPKO to talk about their choices:

During the 3E ceremony, Ben Vollrath, President and CEO of the Logan County Chamber of Commerce, addressed the Class of 2025 with words of encouragement and optimism.

“Whether you’re enlisting, employed, or enrolled… it’s not the rest of your life,” Vollrath said. “Your career choices may change—they’ll ebb and flow through relationships, experiences, education that you find along the way. But I want you to know that this is home. Our community loves you guys, and we want you back here.”

Vollrath’s message reinforced the broader mission of the 3E initiative: to not only prepare students for life after high school, but also to keep them connected to their roots in Logan County.

After Vollrath’s address, students gathered with their classmates in their respective groups—Enrolled, Enlisted, and Employed—to pose for group photos.

Each student then signed an official certificate from the Logan County Collaborative, making their “E” choice formal and symbolic of their next step into adulthood.
