Indian Lake High School recently celebrated the induction of 32 outstanding students into the National Honor Society (NHS), a prestigious organization that recognizes excellence in character, scholarship, leadership, and service.

The new members, all from grades 11 and 12, were selected based on an application process, requiring a minimum grade point average of 3.5.

The announcement was made during an all-school assembly, where senior NHS members formally “tapped” the inductees, highlighting their achievements and commitment to academic excellence.

As part of the ceremony, each new member lit a candle from the NHS flame, symbolizing their dedication to the society’s core values.
