Compared to last year’s stormy Homecoming, Friday night was picture-perfect for the Indian Lake 2025 Homecoming parade, crowning ceremony, and football game.
Before kickoff, classmates, football fans, band members, and cheerleaders gathered at Laker Stadium to celebrate this year’s Homecoming Court.
The students made their grand entrance around the track in decorated vehicles before being recognized on the field.
Congratulations to King Ke’Shawn Blackwell and Queen Riley Ross, who were crowned by 2024 royalty Bryce Burton and Halle Roby in front of cheering family and friends.
Other members of the court included:
- Freshmen Attendants: Nixon Lillard and Ayla Brentlinger
- Sophomore Attendants: Braden Tussing and Alivia Kinney
- Junior Attendants: Gary Hutton and Cami Bailey
- Senior Attendants: Avery Pequignot and Evie Wagner
Capping off the night, the Lakers dominated on the field with a 45–0 win over the Shawnee Braves.
The celebration continued Saturday with the annual Homecoming Dance.
