The first major event of the spring season is set to take place at Indian Lake, with local businesses preparing for what promises to be the largest boat show to date.

This weekend Friday and Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM, area favorites such as Bud’s Marine and Spend-A-Day Marina are joining forces to bring a spectacular display of boats and watercraft to the community.

This year, Spend-A-Day Marina is celebrating its 75th Anniversary.

Even though it’s March, at the Indian Lake Boat Show, it’s always perfect boating weather: 75 and Sunny.

It’s this warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes the boat show a must-visit event for locals and visitors alike.

Monica Hurst from Spend-A-Day talks about the event:

In addition to the boat show, the event will feature fresh donuts, hot coffee, and plenty of tasty treats to keep attendees fueled throughout the day.

Local restaurants are also getting in on the action, offering boat show specials alongside live entertainment to add even more excitement to the atmosphere.

The Indian Lake boat show is not just a local event—it has grown to attract visitors from around the state and even from out of state, as the community aims to highlight the natural beauty of the area and support local businesses.

With the region brimming with energy and excitement, this year’s boat show promises to be an unforgettable experience for residents and visitors alike.

As the region continues to recover from the March 14, 2024 tornado that widely impacted the area, the community is happy to report, that Indian Lake is open and ready for business.
