The Indian Lake Moose is once again making a major investment in local students, presenting Indian Lake Schools with a donation of more than $86,000.
Moose leaders presented the check recently to Superintendent Dr. Rob Underwood, Treasurer Brady Hipsher, and Athletic Director Jeff Courter.
The funds were raised through the organization’s charitable gaming efforts.
Dr. Underwood says the donation will help purchase a new trailer to transport band equipment and assist with expenses for the Quiz Bowl team’s competition trip to Chicago this spring.
School leaders are also considering using part of the funding toward adding a press box at the Indian Lake High School softball facility.
Dr. Underwood highlighted the lasting impact of the Moose’s continued support, saying last year’s donation was transformative for students.
“We’ve already seen the impact through the success of our new weight room,” Underwood said. “The historic run our football team made to the State Final Four was in no small part because of that upgrade.”
School officials expressed their appreciation to the Indian Lake Moose for their generosity and ongoing commitment to student success.
