Indian Lake November Seniors of the Month

The Indian Lake High School has announced its November Seniors of the Month, Logan Murphy and Amelia Schmiedebusch.

 

Logan Murphy is the son of Tom and Amy Murphy of Huntsville.

School Activities and Awards: Honor Roll, NHS, Key Club, Science Club, Football, Basketball, and Track & Field

If I were the principal for a day: I would give everyone a homework pass.

Favorite school memory: My favorite memory is enjoying classes with Mr. Rogers and learning through his unique ways.

People who have been an inspiration to me include: I’m inspired by my parents, my brother Chris, Nate Reichert, and Alex Jacobs.

Lately, I’ve been reading: 1984 by George Orwell

My advice to parents: Live, Laugh Love

My biggest regret: I regret not participating in the musical during my freshman and sophomore years.

Next year I will be: Attending an undecided 4-year college studying in business or exercise science and furthering my opportunity to play football.

 

Amelia Schmiedebusch is the daughter of Joe and Andrea Schmiedebusch of Wapakoneta.

School Activities and awards: Color Guard, Winter Guard, Swim, Laker Leadership Council, National Honor Society President, Key Club, Robotics, SADD, and Student United Way

If I were the principal for a day: I would cancel school.

Favorite school memory: My favorite memory is being on the first ILHS Robotics Team to win an award.

People who have been an inspiration to me include: My parents, my brother,  Alice Weygandt, and Melody Couchman

Lately, I’ve been reading: Fahrenheit 451

My advice to parents: Understand we are involved in a lot and it is hard.

My biggest regret: I regret not enjoying my high school career as much as I should have.

Next year I will be attending Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania studying secondary education.
