The Indian Lake High School Quiz Bowl teams wrapped up a strong season in the Hancock-Hardin-Logan County League, finishing second overall in league play and then claiming the league tournament championship on Saturday.
The Lakers went a perfect 5–0 in tournament play, defeating Benjamin Logan in the final match to take home the league title.
Xavier Johnson led the way and was named league MVP after finishing as the highest-scoring participant in league competition this season.
The junior varsity squad also turned in an impressive performance, advancing to the Consolation Semifinals.
Varsity team members include Xavier Johnson, Hayes Henry, and Bryce Mohler.
The JV roster features Sophie Roberts, JJ Aspidow, Evan Wu, and Connor West.
