Indian Lake Recovery; Residents Asked to Report Damage

The Logan County EMA is asking individuals and families that were impacted by the March 14th Tornado at Indian Lake, to report their damage and provide contact information and pictures if you have them.

This information will be shared with FEMA as they assess our impacts to determine if we qualify for a federal disaster declaration.

Locally, they will also use this information to connect you with their Long-Term Recovery Committee for assistance with unmet needs.

Call the Recovery Call Center at 937-292-4041, Monday through Wednesday between 10 AM and 7 PM.

As recovery continues from the March 14th tornado at Indian Lake, several resources are being provided to those affected by the devastation.

The United Way of Logan County is coordinating TWO Multi-Agency Resource Centers for victims.

Representatives from agencies such as the American Red Cross, Bridges Community Action, Community Health & Wellness Partners, Logan County Department of Job & Family Services, and multiple government and non-profit agencies will be present to help victims apply for benefits and other assistance.

If you need shelter, The American Red Cross shelter is now located at Galilee Lutheran Church at 301 Lincoln Blvd. in Russells Point. You are asked to call 1-800-RED CROSS for additional information.

RTC Services continues to provide free transportation for tornado victims. You can call (937) 593-0039 to schedule a ride.

The Mental Health, Drug, and Alcohol Services Board of Logan and Champaign Counties is partnering with TCN Behavioral Health and area faith-based organizations to provide no-cost counseling services to those impacted by the tornado.  Available services include individual, family, peer support, and faith-based care.
