The Indian Lake High School show choir, The Meistersingers, will present their highly anticipated annual Extravaganza on Saturday, November 9th at 7:00 PM and Sunday, November 10th at 6:30 PM in the high school auditorium.
The event was originally scheduled for Friday and Saturday but was rescheduled due to the Indian Lake High School football team advancing in the playoffs.
The show will feature performances by the ILHS Meistersingers and the Vocal Jazz Ensemble (VJE) on both nights.
Special acts will differ between the two performances, offering a unique experience each evening.
On Saturday, the 7th and 8th Grade Sophisticlefs show choir will perform, while the 5th and 6th Grade Spectaculars show choir will perform on Sunday.
Donations will be accepted at the door, with all proceeds benefiting the IL Musical Athlete Scholarship, which supports student performers in their extracurricular pursuits.
The Meistersingers and Vocal Jazz Ensemble are directed by Tracey Notestine, with choreography by Rebecca Taylor.
The Sophisticlefs are directed by Amanda Strayer, and the Spectaculars are directed by Holly Powers.
