Two Indian Lake High School teachers have received the EMS Star of Life Award for helping save a woman’s life after a serious accident.
Wes Hall, Information Technology instructor, and Ryan Stanford, who teaches Robotics, CAD, and Graphic Design, are both part of the BMRT Ambulance District Rescue Squad.
In March 2024, they responded after a woman and her daughter were hit by a truck in Belle Center.
Both victims recovered fully thanks to the quick response by Hall, Stanford, and their team.
The EMS Star of Life Award recognizes exceptional emergency responders in Ohio.
The two educators were honored for their fast action and teamwork under pressure.
Hall and Stanford continue to teach at Indian Lake while serving the community as active EMTs.
