Indian Lake tornado inspires local man to pursue new career

When an EF‑3 tornado tore through the Indian Lake area on March 14, 2024, it not only left a trail of destruction across Logan County but also ignited a passion in one local resident, JJ Myers, who would soon dedicate himself to understanding the forces behind the storm.

In the early evening, several powerful supercell thunderstorms spawned at least six confirmed tornadoes in Ohio, including the severe EF‑3 that devastated Lakeview and surrounding communities near Indian Lake.

Homes were leveled, powerlines downed, and, tragically, lives were lost.
