A traffic accident occurred Tuesday morning on State Route 47, involving two vehicles and resulting in the temporary closure of the roundabout for one hour.
Outside of DeGraff, Amanda Collingsworth, 45, of Sidney, was driving a blue 2013 Dodge Journey when she failed to yield to Micheael Pippin, 44, of DeGraff, who was operating a white 2006 Acura.
The collision caused Collingsworth’s vehicle to overturn onto its side.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.
However, Collingsworth was cited for failing to yield the right of way.
