An intoxicated woman was arrested late Saturday night following a series of disruptive incidents at Froggy’s Bar.
According to police reports, Marissa Bill, 24, of Englewood, was causing a disturbance at the bar, verbally assaulting staff, and refusing to leave. When officers arrived, they found Bill sitting on the ground and uncooperative. Despite attempts to calm her down and help her arrange a ride home, Bill continued to use offensive language and refused assistance.
The bar owner and staff chose not to press charges for an alleged assault on a bartender, but Bill’s behavior led to her arrest. She was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest.
During the arrest, Bill became combative, obstructing the handcuffing process, and had to be placed in a restraint chair at the Logan County Jail after continuing to resist and use offensive language.
