*White is no longer missing and has been located as of Thursday afternoon.*
The Bellefontaine Police Department is investigating the report of a missing 14-year-old juvenile, Jayden White. He was last seen at approximately 7:30 pm Tuesday at his residence in Bellefontaine. White is considered a runaway at this time.
Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Walker Street regarding the runaway juvenile Wednesday morning around 11:00.
Upon arrival, officers met with the mother who reported her son, White, was found missing from the house just prior to contacting police.
The boy had been reported as a runaway last Monday and he was located early Tuesday evening in Bellefontaine. He was eventually returned to his home and placed back in the custody of his mother.
According to the mother, her son went to his room around 7:30 pm Tuesday evening and was found missing from the house upon her waking up Wednesday morning.
White was reported to possibly be wearing a red Reebok hooded sweatshirt and black/purple Nike Air Jordan shoes.
A photograph from the previous episode had been obtained last Monday and that photograph is still on file. Dispatch entered White into LEADS/NCIC as missing and an adjacent county teletype was broadcast notifying area law enforcement agencies of him absconding.
Between 11:30 a.m. and noon Wednesday, officers checked 328 North Detroit Street in an attempt to locate White as he was known to frequent that location. However, in speaking with the residents, they claimed he had not been by the house Wednesday morning or Tuesday evening.
