Joshua Jillson, 39 of Russells Point, was arrested Sunday afternoon for Theft, Criminal Trespass, Criminal Mischief, Possessing Criminal Tools, and Possessing Drug Paraphernalia.
Logan County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a business on State Route 235 in Lakeview when the owner called and said there was a vehicle parked behind the business near a dumpster.
When deputies arrived on the scene, Jillson slid out from under another vehicle on the property.
He told deputies that he was doing what was suspected, cutting off the catalytic converter.
Jillson was arrested and transported to the Logan County Jail.
Cutting tools and two catalytic converters were collected from the scene.
It was discovered that Jillson had two active warrants out of Texas for Burglary and a Probation Violation.
He has prior convictions for Burglary, Theft, Robbery, Criminal Trespassing, and Possession/Sale of Narcotics.
