According to a report from the Washington Township Police Department, a Springfield man was arrested late Thursday night after a traffic stop in Logan County.
Around 10:15 p.m., officers pulled over 41-year-old Ryan Tuggle on State Route 708 near U.S. 33 for several equipment violations.
Officers noticed signs of drug use and called in Bellefontaine Police K9 Pyro, who alerted to the odor of narcotics in the vehicle.

During the struggle, he sustained minor injuries and was treated on scene by Indian Lake EMS.

A search of the vehicle turned up 18 grams of methamphetamine.
It tested positive and was packaged in bulk amounts.
Tuggle was arrested and lodged at the Logan County Jail on charges of drug possession, drug trafficking, and resisting arrest.
The Bellefontaine Police Department, Russells Point Police, and Indian Lake EMS assisted at the scene.
Washington Township Police Chief Michael Thompson said in a statement:
“I am thankful for the incredible working relationship between all law enforcement agencies in Logan County. Because of this, Logan County is a much safer place to live, work, and visit.”
