Indian Lake High School has announced its Seniors of the Month for March, Owen Kaser and Alyssa Powell.
Owen Kaser is the son of Jeremy and Morgan Kaser of Huntsville.
School activities and awards: Meistersingers, Improv Club, Spanish Club, FFA Poultry Judging, National Honor Society, and ILHS Student Section Top Fan
If I were principal for a day: I would hold an assembly with me as a motivational speaker on disabilities and being included in high school.
Favorite school memory: My favorite memories are both state runs in softball (freshman year) and football (senior year).
People who have been an inspiration to me include: I’m inspired by my family for always supporting me and making everything possible.
Lately I’ve been reading: The Golden Compass and The Little Prince for English 12
My advice to parents: Let your kids do hard things and advocate for themselves. Growth comes through failures.
My biggest regret: I regret not getting involved in Key Club activities because I didn’t think I could help.
Next year I will be: Volunteering and obtaining a job within our community.
Alyssa Powell is the daughter of Jaime Powell of Belle Center.

If I were principal for a day: I would let everybody go home and have a free day.
Favorite school memory: My favorite memory is my freshman English class with Mrs. Tussing.
People who have been an inspiration to me include: People who have been an inspiration to me recently are my mom, Harlan Ellison, Snoopy and Woodstock, and Mary Shelly.

My advice to parents: Allow kids the space to be themselves.
My biggest regret: I regret not being more outgoing my freshman and sophomore years.
Next year I will be: Attending college at the University of Cincinnati in their exploratory program
