The Logan County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched regarding a domestic violence situation at the 3400 block of State Route 273 Monday just before midnight.

The victim stated that Justin Wilson, 37, had struck her in the face and then fled the residence and headed toward Urbana.

Authorities checked the area and were unable to locate Wilson.

At the residence, the victim had a bloody nose and she had left-side pain. The female stated that Wilson was upset because he could not find his “stuff.” She said that he struck her in the face and kicked her in the left side ribs 5-6 times. The female was favoring her left side and said that it was “tender.”

EMS responded to the scene to evaluate the female. She refused to go to the hospital.

Around 7:00 Tuesday morning, the female called the Sheriff’s Office again to report that Wilson had returned and was still hostile, yelling at her, and throwing her belongings around.

Deputies returned to the residence and arrested Wilson.  He denied assaulting the female.

He was placed under arrest for domestic violence and transported to the Logan County Jail.
