Bellefontaine Police say a 29-year-old Kenton man was arrested early Sunday morning on charges related to providing alcohol to two underage girls at the Comfort Inn on Northview Drive.
Tyler Rall faces charges of contributing to the delinquency of a child and providing alcohol to minors after a concerned mother reported that her 16-year-old daughter and a friend were drinking with Rall in a hotel room.
According to authorities, the situation began around 11 p.m. on Saturday, when the mother of one of the minors, arrived at the hotel and saw her daughter and her friend with Rall in the lobby.
Rall initially claimed he believed the girls were both 18 years old.
The investigation revealed that one of the girls, who was 16, had informed Rall via text that she was underage, but Rall proceeded to invite her out for dinner and drinks.
Alcoholic beverages were found in the hotel room.
One girl was taken into custody for a probation violation stemming from her involvement in the incident.
Rall was arrested and transported to the Logan County Jail, where he remains in custody.
